Magtia started out in 2012 as a small team of market data specialists and IT professionals, committed to help clients overcome the challenges presented by the financial industry’s use of multiple inconsistent symbols to identify instruments.

Our first assignment enabled a Tier 1 bank to replace data feeds from its existing vendor with direct feeds to support its global market data distribution network. The solution was transparent to the front office and required no recoding of applications nor changes to subscriptions, allowing the client’s trading applications to continue uninterrupted using existing symbology.

The success of this first project was a springboard for growth and we’ve since more than trebled in size. Today we work with a broad range of clients around the world, including investment banks, portfolio managers, hedge fund managers and settlement houses. Our commitment to quality solutions and outstanding service has seen us retain 100% of the clients we’ve brought on board since we started.
